A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

Job Description

Ready to take the lead while still working hands-on in the field? We're looking for an experienced Mowing Foreman to lead a small crew of 1-2 team members and keep our clients' properties looking their best. As a Mowing Foreman, you'll work alongside your crew while taking ownership of the day-to-day operation of your route. You'll lead by example, keep the team moving efficiently, maintain high quality standards, and make sure each property is completed safely and professionally. You'll also help train and develop crew members, care for equipment, and communicate with your manager when issues arise. We're looking for someone who is confident operating professional mowing equipment and handheld tools, takes pride in quality work, and knows how to keep a small team productive and on track. Mowing Foreman Job Responsibilities Managing one employee on site Customer service Monitor equipment for needed maintenance Mowing, trimming, edging all properties to contract standards Paying attention to detail Must have valid Driver's License Must be available to work days and occasionally some weekends. A valid driver's license and a positive attitude are required. A CDL is not required but a plus.
