Job Description

Naylor Landscape Management, a family-first organization serving Kalamazoo and southwest Michigan since 1983, is seeking multiple Landscape Foremen to join its growing team. As a Landscape Foreman, you will lead small crews in the installation and maintenance of high-quality landscape projects, working closely with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the companys high standards. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew of 1-2 team members on landscape construction projects Coordinate daily tasks with the Landscape Construction Manager and Field Supervisor Install retaining walls, paver walks and patios, outdoor kitchens, water features, planting beds, trees, shrubs, and lawns (seeded and sodded) Oversee holiday lighting installation and takedown, as well as snow removal operations Train and mentor crew members to ensure safe and efficient work practices Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor with clients, vendors, and team members Ensure all work meets Naylor Landscape Managements quality standards and is completed within project timelines and budgets Qualifications High school diploma or GED Valid drivers license Chauffeurs license (or ability to obtain) Ability to obtain a CDL Class A license within 60 days of hire Five or more years of landscape construction experience At least one year of experience as a landscape foreman Working knowledge of horticultural practices Experience with heavy landscape equipment safety, use, and care Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to completing projects on time and within budget Compensation $27 - $35 per hour based on leadership experience, with opportunities for overtime, snow pay, job commissions, and profit sharing. Total income potential exceeds $90,000 per year. A sign-on bonus is also offered.
