Job Description
Superior Landscape Companies, LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Design/Build Foreman to lead the installation of high-quality residential landscape projects from start to finish. The Residential Design/Build Foreman is responsible for supervising field crews, coordinating daily activities, ensuring projects are installed according to plans and specifications, and maintaining Superior Landscape Companies' high standards for quality, safety, and customer service. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise residential landscape installation crews daily.
- Read and interpret landscape plans, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Oversee the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor living spaces, plantings, drainage systems, grading, and other landscape features.
- Ensure projects are constructed accurately, efficiently, and according to design plans.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, deliveries, and crew assignments to keep projects moving forward.
- Perform layout and measurements in the field.
- Operate and safely oversee the use of landscape construction equipment and power tools.
- Train, direct, and hold crew members accountable for quality, productivity, and safety.
- Monitor jobsite conditions and maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, material needs, and schedule concerns to the Residential Design/Build Manager.
- Identify potential issues in the field and work proactively to resolve them.
- Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, equipment, and project progress.
- Perform quality-control inspections throughout each project.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and address questions or concerns appropriately.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company standards and applicable safety requirements.
- Assist with estimating, material take-offs, and project planning as needed.
- Represent Superior Landscape Companies professionally on every jobsite. Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in residential landscape construction or a related construction field.
- Solid background in paver patio and retaining wall installation. Softscape experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and construction drawings.
- Experience with layout, grading, drainage, hardscape installation, and planting.
- Ability to perform material take-offs and determine material quantities.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project coordination.
- Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, loaders, and other landscape construction equipment preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and solve problems in the field.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work. What We Offer
