We are looking for a skilled, dependable Landscape & Hardscape Laborer to join our team. We strongly prefer someone with previous experience in landscape construction, particularly laying pavers, building retaining walls, operating equipment, grading, and completing other hardscape projects. This is a hands-on position. While experience and the ability to take ownership of a project are important, this is not a position where you will simply supervise others. You will be working alongside the crew and performing the work yourself every day. Summer work consists primarily of landscape construction and improvement projects rather than routine landscape maintenance. Projects may include paver patios and walkways, retaining walls, grading and site preparation, rock and mulch installation, tree and shrub removal, planting trees and shrubs, landscape bed installation, yard cleanups, native restoration, and other residential and HOA landscape projects. Applicants must be willing to perform everything from skilled hardscape work to basic labor depending on what the project requires. Employees may also be asked to assist our landscape maintenance crews when needed. We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to help wherever necessary rather than someone interested in performing only one type of work.

Summer Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, four 10-hour days. During the winter, this position transitions primarily to hand snow removal in Big Sky. Employees are on call seven days a week based on snowfall and will be responsible for shoveling walkways, entrances, decks, patios, areas in front of garages, and other designated areas at residential and HOA properties. Winter compensation includes guaranteed pay regardless of snowfall. The majority of our work is located in Big Sky. Transportation to job sites is provided in company work trucks, and drive time is paid. We are looking for someone who can eventually take increased responsibility for projects and crews. There will be opportunities to advance into a project crew lead/foreman role for the right person. Even with advancement, this is a working-foreman environment—our leaders are expected to be on site, operate equipment, lay pavers, move material, and work alongside their crew. Ideal candidates will have landscape construction or hardscape experience, be comfortable operating equipment and using construction/landscape tools, be dependable and able to work independently, and be willing to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions. This is a good position for someone who takes pride in building things, likes seeing a project through from start to finish, and wants the opportunity to grow into a larger role within the company.

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
