Full Job Description Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on leader to join our team as a Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader . This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership abilities, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for landscaping. You'll be responsible for supervising and mentoring crew members, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining equipment and company assets. The right candidate will foster a positive team culture, drive daily efficiency, and demonstrate a proactive mindset with a desire to grow within the company.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role within landscape maintenance or installation. Valid NC Driver's License with a clean driving record and reliable transportation; eligible for coverage under company auto policy. Ability to pass a background check. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Dependable, punctual, and committed with minimal absences. Self-driven with strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities. Maintains a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead by example—motivate and manage crew members to ensure teamwork, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery. Oversee daily use, safety checks, and maintenance of company assets including trucks, trailers, and equipment. Monitor crew performance and provide on-the-job training and mentorship. Ensure quality control, time management, and profitability across maintenance routes. Promote a culture of accountability, respect, and collaboration. Engage with clients professionally and uphold service excellence. Demonstrate initiative and a growth-oriented mindset to take on increasing responsibilities within the company.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Proficient in safe operation of landscape maintenance tools and equipment. Strong communication, organization, and real-time problem-solving skills. Willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Comfortable working 10 hour shifts and occasional Saturdays due to weather delays.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of horticulture and proper maintenance techniques. Ability to identify and resolve common landscape issues, including irrigation, pest control, and plant health concerns. Why Join Us?
