This position is ideal for an individual who leads by example, values quality and safety, and can effectively manage time, people, and equipment. In addition to hourly pay, this role is eligible for monthly performance-based bonuses , with additional pay incentives for approved drivers who qualify for company insurance coverage. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Monthly performance bonus opportunities Driver pay incentives for approved drivers on company insurance Consistent, year-round work Advancement opportunities within the company Team-oriented, respectful work environment Major Job Responsibilities Lead and manage a landscape maintenance crew daily Ensure assigned routes are completed efficiently and on schedule Assign tasks and ensure work is performed according to company standards Train crew members on proper techniques, safety, and equipment use Inspect completed work to ensure quality and consistency Client Awareness Maintain professional appearance and crew conduct on all properties Serve as the primary point of contact for basic client interactions Address minor client questions and communicate concerns to management Quality Control Maintain proper mowing patterns and overall site appearance Ensure correct equipment is used for each task Confirm all work meets company quality expectations Equipment and Technology Use Safely operate and oversee the use of company equipment Ensure equipment is properly fueled, maintained, and secured Operate company technology systems after proper training, including time tracking and route or job-related applications Safety Enforce all company safety rules and policies Participate in tailgate meetings Ensure crew members use required personal protective equipment Report accidents, property damage, or safety concerns immediately Administrative Responsibilities Complete timesheets accurately and on time Report equipment issues, incidents, and daily job progress to management Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of commercial landscape maintenance experience Prior leadership or crew management experience preferred Ability to learn and operate company technology after proper training Eligible to become an approved driver on company insurance, if applicable Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable, professional, and accountable Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 60 pounds Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Exposure to noise, equipment, and landscaping materials
