• Part-time, Full-time, Contract Is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the golf course, ensuing they are safe, functional, and visually appealing.

This role involves a variety of tasks, including mowing, aerating, trimming, fertilizing, weeding, fertilizing the turf, raking bunkers, and performing minor repairs on equipment. Groundskeeper may also be responsible for planting and pruning trees, shrubs, and flowers, as well as managing irrigation systems and applying pesticides and herbicides. The position requires a knowledge of horticulture and the ability to operate and maintain various types of ground equipment. Key Responsibilities 

Turf Maintenance:

mowing greens, tees, fairways, and roughs as well as aerating, seeding and fertilizing the grass. 

Course Setup:

Raking and maintaining bunkers, cutting cups, and refilling divots to ensure the course is ready for play.  Equipment operation: Safely operating carious machinery such as mowers, blowers, string trimmers, and utility vehicles. 

General Maintenance:

Performing general landscaping, such as trimming trees and shrubs, and keeping areas around signs, cart paths, and bunkers tidy.  Equipment upkeep: Keeping equipment clean, fueled and oiled, and reporting any mechanical issues.  Irrigation and projects: Assisting with irrigation system repairs and other special projects as assigned.  Safety and compliance: Following safety precautions, adhering to golf etiquette, and sometimes assisting with pesticide application. Required Skills and Abilities  Physical stamina: Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, standing and walking for long periods.  Tool and equipment proficiency: Must be able to operate a caiety of hand and power tools and motorized equipment.  Attention to detail: A strong eye for detail is crucial for maintaining the high standards of a golf course. 

Basic Knowledge:

Knowledge of basic landscaping, groundskeeping, and sometimes irrigation is beneficial.  Valid driver's license: Often required to operate utility vehicles. 

Teamwork:

Must be able to work cooperatively with other team members.

Pay:

$30,000.00
