Compensation & Benefits 100% Employee-Owned Company Employer-paid health insurance Dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off, paid sick leave, and paid holidays Uniforms provided Stable, year-round employment Ongoing training and advancement opportunities Supportive, values-driven work culture What You'll Do Perform advanced maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on agricultural equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and precision ag systems Independently diagnose complex equipment issues and determine effective repairs Complete accurate service reports and work orders in a timely manner Use diagnostic tools, software, and technical resources to support repairs Support and mentor junior technicians when needed Collaborate with service, parts, and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Deliver high-quality workmanship with attention to detail and efficiency What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in agricultural, diesel, or heavy equipment repair Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics Ability to work independently on complex repairs and troubleshooting Strong problem-solving and technical skills Effective communication and organizational abilities Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality service Experience with Case IH or similar agricultural equipment preferred Requirements Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance Ability to stand, bend, and work in shop and field environments for extended periods Comfortable working around equipment, fluids, and varying environmental conditions Safety-minded and compliant with workplace safety standards Must maintain insurable driving status Must pass pre-employment drug screening Why Work at West Plains Inc.?
