You'll work alongside the Landscape Foreman and Crew Leader to install high-quality residential and commercial landscape projects throughout the Omaha area. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, working with their hands, and seeing the results of their work. What You'll Do Assist with residential and commercial landscape construction and installation projects. Work closely with the Foreman and Crew Leader to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Perform physically demanding work throughout the day, including lifting, carrying, digging, moving materials, and other installation tasks. Install a variety of hardscape and softscape features. Work with plants including perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Properly care for company equipment, tools, vehicles, and trailers. Follow directions and work effectively as part of a team. Meet production and project deadlines without sacrificing safety or quality. Provide professional and courteous customer service. Attend required training and safety meetings. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For 1-3 years of previous landscape construction experience preferred. Knowledge of hardscape and softscape installation preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the workday. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Dependable, punctual, and able to take direction. Professional attitude and appearance. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively with people of different backgrounds, experience levels, and skill sets. Willingness to work seasonal long hours and occasional weekends as needed.
Physical & Working Conditions:
This is an active, physically demanding outdoor position. Employees should be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
The position requires:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, digging, and lifting. Repeatedly lifting, carrying, loading, and moving materials and equipment. Working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions. Working around landscaping equipment, vehicles, tools, and construction materials. Walking significant distances throughout a workday depending on the job site and project. Ability to safely and consistently perform the physical requirements of landscape installation work.
Other Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
