Landscape Installation Manager This hands-on leadership role is designed for an experienced landscape professional who will oversee and execute high-quality residential and commercial installation projects. Reporting directly to the COO, this position focuses on leading field operations, managing crews, and coordinating materials to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Based in Morristown, NJ, this established and fast growing organization specializes in comprehensive landscape construction and snow solutions for diverse markets. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day field operations for both residential and commercial landscape installation projects. Manage project schedules, labor planning, equipment usage, and material coordination to ensure the timely completion of work. Lead installation crews and subcontractors with a strict focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and accountability. Coordinate jobsite logistics, including deliveries, inspections, equipment needs, and subcontractor scheduling. Monitor labor productivity, installation quality, and daily progress against established project budgets and timelines. Identify and resolve field issues involving layout, drainage, grading, plant material, hardscape details, and customer concerns. Hire, train, and mentor crew leaders to support long-term team performance and build a culture of ownership. Requirements Possess 10+ years of progressive experience in landscape installation, landscape construction, or related field operations. Demonstrate 3+ years of experience in a leadership role managing active jobsites, installation crews, and subcontractors. Maintain a strong technical understanding of grading, drainage, planting, hardscape installation, and irrigation coordination. Exhibit the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, anticipate jobsite challenges, and read contract plans to execute work to specifications. Possess the physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, maintain an active field presence, and lift materials weighing greater than 50 pounds.
