Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and experienced Snow Removal Manager to lead our winter storm response operations. Duties Supervise and coordinate snow removal activities across multiple sites, including plowing, shoveling, salting, operations. Manage and operate grounds maintenance and snow equipment such as loaders, snow blowers, salt spreaders, and trucks with company vehicles. Lead a team of groundskeepers and seasonal workers, providing clear instructions, training, and supervision to ensure timely completion of snow clearing tasks. Develop and implement snow removal plans based on weather forecasts, prioritizing high-traffic areas for safety and accessibility. Conduct regular inspections of outdoor grounds to identify hazardous icy patches or snow accumulation that require immediate attention. Maintain detailed records of snowfall amounts, equipment usage, crew hours, and safety incidents for operational reporting. Qualifications Proven experience in outdoor work environments with a strong background in snow removal operations Demonstrated supervising or team management experience within snow removal operations. Skilled in operating groundskeeping equipment including trucks, skid steers, snow blowers, salt spreaders, and other related machinery. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to manage crew members effectively. Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in winter conditions while maintaining safety standards.
