Job Description

Landscape Production Supervisor ELD is seeking a highly motivated, skilled and experienced Landscape Production Supervisor to manage projects for high-end residential and commercial clients. The candidate will possess excellent communication and time management skills along with landscape industry experience, delivering top quality projects on time and within budget. This position will be the client's point of contact with all ELD internal departments and subcontractors during the project. The position requires professionalism, integrity and keen attention to detail. ELD's reputation for excellence cannot be compromised.
Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact with the client from the start of the project to the handoff for maintenance services, building long-term relationships. Manage project schedules, logistics and budgets. Coordinate with the client, other ELD departments, subcontractors, architects, engineers, municipal inspectors and others, to ensure that the project flows smoothly and meets expectations. Purchase plant and landscape materials. Read plans to properly lay out the installation projects. Instruct, mentor and lead your production crews. Conduct site visits throughout the project to maintain quality standards. Ensure that all crews are operating efficiently. Operate trucks and equipment as needed. Create and deliver bids, proposals and change orders. Maintain accurate records of materials used and submit receipts to the office. Assist in the job costing of your projects to maintain the desired margins. Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures. Maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
5 years of landscape installation experience with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role. Knowledge of horticulture best practices, plant material, grading and drainage, low voltage lighting, hardscaping and irrigation. Strong professional communication skills. The ability to teach and lead others. Time management skills and an ability to prioritize tasks. Organized and calm in a fast-paced environment. Valid and clean driver's license, a CDL is a plus. Winter/snow operation experience is a plus. Bilingual (English/ Spanish) is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Outdoor work in all-weather conditions. Office work, Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., kneel and bend, stand/ walk on uneven terrain for extended periods of time, use hand tools and utilize PPE. Weekend and evening work to meet project deadlines may be required.
