Salary:
BOE Job Summary Green Velvet Landscape is seeking an experienced and skilled Landscape Foreman with a strong background in commercial landscaping and playground installation. In this leadership role, you will lead a crew on commercial jobsites, managing the installation of commercial playground equipment, safety surfacing, and surrounding commercial landscape features from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities Playground Installation:
Direct the safe and accurate assembly and installation of commercial playground structures, swings, slides, climbing equipment, and site amenities (benches, tables, trash receptacles).
Irrigation Installation:
Plan and execute the trenching, piping, and wiring of commercial irrigation systems; configure timers and valves to support new landscape integration around play areas.
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce all OSHA and manufacturer safety protocols on the job site; inspect equipment, tools, and materials regularly.
Project Communication:
Act as the primary on-site point of contact for project managers, general contractors, or clients, providing regular progress updates.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial construction, landscaping, or specialized playground installation, with at least 1 year in a foreman or crew lead role.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with safety standards (such as ASTM and CPSC guidelines for playgrounds) and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and assembly manuals.
Equipment & Tools:
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment/machinery (skid steers, excavators) and power tools.
Driver's License:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL or trailer-towing experience is a strong plus).
Physical Stamina:
