Ewing Continuing Care Center, near scenic Canandaigua Lake, is a 5-star, not-for-profit long term care facility offering quality skilled nursing and rehabilitation care in a clean, safe and pleasant environment. Primarily Monday-Friday position with 1 weekend out of 5 required Benefits Health, dental, vision insurance Tuition reimbursement up to $6000/year Contribution and match on Retirement Plan Paid time off Access to Success coaches Free parking Key Responsibilities Works closely with Nurse Manager to manage the daily operations of the Avenue Performs, supervises or assists with resident assessments and documentation Perform skin assessments weekly and PRN on indicated residents Assists with assuring that quality care is provided through QI Mentors, rounds, chart reviews, etc. Participates with precepting of nursing personnel Serves as clinical resource person to CNAs, LPNs and other associates Assist with development of nursing and other associates Monitors nursing personnel compliance with resident care plans Coordinates clinical care of residents with nursing personnel Assures that physician orders are carried out and integrated into resident care plans Continually enhances clinical knowledge in long term care and shares information as appropriate Responsible for creating a culture of accountability within the framework of a positive work environment Qualifications NYS Licensed RN- required 2 years of long term care experience
