A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

Job Description

Wayside Nursery is currently expanding our Hardscape Division. Our company is one of WNY's top Hardscape Contractor for Commercial and Residential Hardscaping and Landscaping. We are seeking the right individual to join our dynamic organization to fill the position of Hardscape Foreman to join our team. This individual will have 5+ years of experience installing retaining walls, walkways, patios and knowledge of landscape installation.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee Residential hardscape projects from beginning to end
  • Supervise crew of 2-3 people.
  • Ensure projects are completed properly and in a timely manor.
  • Ability to trouble shoot
  • Maintain a professional and safe work environment and enforce safety regulations
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Hardscape Foreman for 5+ years
  • Strong knowledge of hardscape installation processes using different hardscape media.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multiple tasks
