Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead and oversee outdoor landscaping projects, ensuring the highest standards of grounds maintenance, landscape design, and construction are achieved. In this role, you will supervise a team of crew members, coordinate various landscaping activities, and ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to client specifications. Your expertise in horticulture, hardscape installation, irrigation management, and team leadership will be vital in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects while honing your skills in landscape management and crew supervision. Responsibilities Lead and supervise landscaping crews during construction projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope. Oversee landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, gardening, pruning, planting, and grounds upkeep to maintain pristine outdoor environments. Manage irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance to promote healthy plant growth and water efficiency. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and ground cover to ensure proper care and landscape design adherence. Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation tools safely and effectively. Coordinate hardscape installations including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures with precision and craftsmanship. Supervise team members' performance while fostering a positive work environment through leadership and clear communication. Skills Extensive outdoor work experience with a focus on grounds maintenance and landscaping. Proven supervising experience with crew management in outdoor or construction settings. Strong knowledge of horticulture practices including plant identification and tree care. Skilled in irrigation management and troubleshooting irrigation systems. Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely; experience with company vehicle operation is a plus. Knowledge of hardscape installation techniques and garden design principles. Excellent leadership qualities combined with effective communication skills to motivate teams and manage multiple projects efficiently.
