We're hiring a Foreman who can lead daily field execution, protect quality, and keep projects moving safely and efficiently. Auman Landscape | Carroll, OH and surrounding job sites Auman Landscape is looking for a dependable, skilled Lead Landscape Technician / Assistant Foreman to join our field team. This role is a strong fit for someone who is an excellent technician and is ready to take the next step toward foreman-level leadership. You will work across a mix of landscape construction, maintenance, pool-related, and outdoor improvement projects while helping the Foreman keep the crew organized, productive, safe, and focused on quality. What you will do Help plan and execute daily field work. Read plans, follow project scopes, and sequence work effectively. Lead portions of the job when assigned by the Foreman. Give clear direction to technicians and help newer team members improve. Perform hands-on landscape installation and maintenance work. Assist with grading, drainage, planting, hardscape, cleanup, equipment, and material handling. Check that work is safe, clean, complete, and built to company standards. Identify problems early and communicate them to the Foreman. Help coordinate tools, equipment, and materials before work begins. Communicate professionally with customers when working on site. Step into greater leadership responsibility when the Foreman is absent or assigns you ownership of part of the job. What we are looking for Experience in landscape construction, maintenance, hardscape, pool work, or a related outdoor trade. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions. Ability to safely lift and carry materials and equipment. Comfortable operating common landscaping tools and equipment. Ability to follow plans, instructions, and jobsite expectations. Clear communication and a willingness to address problems early. Interest in developing into a Foreman. Valid driver's license preferred. The right person will Care about doing the job correctly, not just getting it done. Keep the crew moving without sacrificing safety or quality.
