As our Field Supervisor, you will oversee 8-10 lawn maintenance crews, ensuring high-quality results through customer communication, job reviews, and efficient scheduling. This role requires strong leadership, plant knowledge, equipment expertise, and the ability to train, manage, and support teams in lawn maintenance, mulching, and snow removal operations.

Trains employees on tasks like planting, pruning, and equipment use while ensuring safety and monitoring crew operations. Assists with scheduling and reviewing times sheets of the lawn maintenance crews. Schedules work for crews, depending on work priorities, crew or equipment availability or weather conditions. Monitors project activity to ensure that instructions are followed, deadlines are met and schedules are maintained. Manages snow crews by hiring, training and dispatching staff. Reviews weather conditions and makes decisions on assigning work. Operates salt/plow truck, as needed.
What you need to succeed:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in lawn maintenance At least 2-3 years of experience managing multiple crews Experience operating landscape equipment/machinery such as skid steers, loaders, etc. Broad knowledge of plant identification and plant needs - this includes shrubs, perennials, trees as well as identifying disease. Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and a drug test
