Specializing in park development, commercial landscape sitework, and state-of-the-art playground installations, we take pride in safety, precision engineering, and turning blueprints into beautiful public spaces.] Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Landscape Sitework & Playground Installation Foreman to lead field operations for our park development projects. In this role, you will manage a crew handling everything from initial clearing and fine grading to the installation of commercial playground equipment, safety surfacing, and park amenities (pavilions, hardscapes, and walkways). This position requires a sharp eye for layout precision and a strict commitment to playground safety standards. Key Responsibilities

Crew Leadership:

Direct, schedule, and motivate a crew of equipment operators, landscape installers, and specialized laborers.

Site Layout & Grading:

Interpret architectural landscape plans, civil blueprints, and grade sheets. Oversee cut/fill operations, drainage adjustments, and precision fine grading for sports fields, lawns, and play areas.

Playground & Amenity Assembly:

Oversee the structural installation of commercial-grade playground structures, shade sails, park shelters, benches, and safety borders.

Safety Surfacing Coordination:

Coordinate the preparation and installation of critical safety surfacing sub-bases (aggregate bases for poured-in-place rubber, engineered wood fiber, or synthetic turf).

Quality Control & Safety:

Ensure all work complies with project specifications and OSHA standards

Documentation:

Complete accurate daily logs, track material deliveries (stone, soil, playground components), monitor crew hours, and report progress to the Project Manager. Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Foreman or Lead Hand in commercial landscape sitework, park construction, or playground installation.

Technical Know-How:

Proficient in fine grading, reading civil and landscape architectural plans, and setting up laser levels/instruments for precision slope and drainage.

Equipment Skills:

Experience operating or directing mini-excavators, skid steers, compactors, and track loaders in tight or finished environments.

License:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods. What We Offer
