Job Description

O'Hara Outdoors is seeking an experienced Landscape Installation Supervisor . The Landscape installation Supervisor will supervise team working on the installation projects from beginning to close-out. Qualified candidates will possess a background in landscape installation supervision. Crew Leadership & Operations Dispatch and receive crews in person daily to coordinate daily work assignments. Lead, motivate, and supervise landscaping crews. Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed on schedule. Provide on-site training, guidance, and correction when necessary. Ensure proper landscaping techniques are followed, and equipment is used according to safety standards. Monitor work quality to ensure standards are met for residential and commercial projects. Ensure that actual hours are kept with budget. Report significant discrepancies to management immediately. Project Leadership Read and interpret job plans, work orders, and site layouts. Perform and oversee landscaping tasks including: Maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and cleanup. Fertilization and pesticide treatments Irrigation monitoring, repairs and material allocations/inventory. Safety & Compliance Enforce all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free job site. Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and vehicles. Conduct daily safety checks and report incidents or equipment issues promptly to management. Client & Management Communication Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients when needed. Provide status updates, report project progress, and communicate challenges. Coordinate with the operations manager to ensure accurate scheduling and material needs. Administrative Tasks Track crew hours, material usage, and project notes. Ensure crews are clocking into work tickets on the time tracking application. Resolve payroll discrepancies with management. Submit daily reports and update job documentation. Assist in evaluating crew performance and communicate challenges/crew concerns to management. Follow company policies and procedures related to dress code, staff discipline, payroll and safety.
Landscape Installation Supervisor Responsibilities:
Lead a 2-6-person crew Perform landscape installation and enhancement services on residential and commercial properties such as landscape planting, landscape renovation, aeration, seeding, seasonal color rotation, and mulch/pine needle installation Ensure all your team members are adhering to safety precautions and best-management practices Operate landscape equipment
Landscape Installation Supervisor Applicants Must:
Must have 3 years verifiable experience in landscape and hardscape installation Be able to clearly communicate with homeowners and customers Have time management and organizational skills Desire to grow in the industry Have a valid South Carolina driver's license Have reliable transportation to and from our office in Bluffton, SC Work for a company who is a preferred employer in the community!
