We need a dedicated leader who knows how to motivate, teach and help improve the work of others. Our Landscape Crew Leader is responsible for recording all time on job sites, what was done (in detail), invoice turn it, evaluating crew members work, ensuring crew works to Felker Landscapes, LLC specifications. LEADING your crew to help develop the best landscape company out there. Must have one (1) year of verifiable experience with landscaping. This does not include working for family or friends. Machine experience (MT85, MT650, etc...), mowing equipment experience is required. Plant, sod, tree knowledge required. Understanding of irrigation is helpful but not required. Planting, mulching, pruning, tree work, pavers, building plant beds, building retaining walls, and simple carpentry are some of the jobs done. Must be healthy enough to work in all the weather conditions that we have in the area, especially the heat and humidity. All employees must follow company policies and directions. Must be respectful of co-workers and clients. Reliable transportation is a must. A valid driver's license and good driving record is required. Ability to speak Spanish is helpful but not required. A bi-lingual employee (English as the primary language) will have a starting rate slightly higher than those who are not. We don't want drama. No whiners. Communication is important. If you think you know everything about landscaping and have no intention of listening to others, don't apply. If you are going to be late most days, don't apply. If you aren't willing to work hard and give your best, don't apply. Would appreciate someone with true, old-fashioned work ethic. Your work represents you, not just the company. We offer year-round work. We don't layoff during the winter months. We have 3-4 paid holidays for full-time employees. After one year we provide some vacation time.
