We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Maintenance Team Leader to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
As the Landscape Maintenance Team Leader, you will oversee and coordinate the daily activities of landscape maintenance crews. You will lead by example, ensuring that our clients receive top-notch service while maintaining the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for landscaping.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a team of landscape maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support. Plan and execute landscape maintenance schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to specifications. Conduct site visits to assess job progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project status. Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained and in good working condition. Enforce safety standards and best practices among team members. Assist with landscape design and planning when necessary to enhance client properties. Collaborate with management to identify potential areas for growth and improvement in services.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field (minimum of 2 years preferred). Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams. Strong knowledge of plant care, landscaping techniques, and maintenance practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred. Certification in horticulture or landscape management is a plus. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
