Big Easy Ranch is seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Agronomy & Grounds to lead all golf course maintenance, landscaping, and grounds operations throughout the property. As a private members-only sporting club, Big Easy Ranch is committed to providing members and guests with exceptional course conditions, beautiful grounds, and a first-class golf experience. Reporting directly to the CEO/General Manager and working closely with the Director of Golf, the Director of Agronomy & Grounds is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day agronomy operations, maintaining championship-level playing conditions, managing budgets and personnel, and ensuring the health and appearance of all golf course turf, landscaping, common areas, and grounds throughout the property. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, effective communicator, and experienced agronomy professional with extensive knowledge of turfgrass management, irrigation systems, golf course construction and maintenance, and team development.Interaction:
Team Members at all levels,Owners, Members and Guests Essential Functions:
- Lead and manage all golf course maintenance, landscaping, and grounds operations throughout the property.
- Establish and maintain championship-level standards for greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and practice facilities.
- Develop and implement agronomic programs for turf health, fertility, pest management, and environmental stewardship.
- Manage irrigation systems, water delivery systems, pumps, wells, drainage systems, and related infrastructure.
