Landscape Crew Supervisor / Foreman SMC Landscape Services is seeking an experienced Landscape Crew Supervisor / Foreman to lead a landscape maintenance crew in the Greater Houston area. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is comfortable supervising employees while also working alongside the crew to get the job done. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing quality work, knows how to lead by example, and can keep a crew safe, productive, and on schedule.

Responsibilities include:

Lead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew

Assign daily tasks and keep the crew organized and productive

Perform landscape maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, blowing, bed maintenance, and related work

Inspect completed work and ensure SMC quality standards are met

Train and coach crew members on proper landscaping techniques and equipment use

Enforce company safety procedures and proper use of PPE

Safely operate landscape equipment, tools, trucks, and trailers

Communicate jobsite issues, equipment needs, and property concerns to management

Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when working with customers and the public

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of professional landscaping experience with experience supervising or leading a crew
• Must be willing and able to work alongside the crew, not just supervise
• Valid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Experience safely driving a truck and trailer preferred
• Knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance practices and equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in Houston weather and perform physically demanding work
• Dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and able to lead by example
