Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

Job Description
SUMMARY:
Irrigation Manager is responsible for and accountable for maintaining the large multi zone irrigation system on a large Higher Ed Campus. Supervises and performs daily, specialty tasks such as scheduling irrigation repairs, maintenance, operations and irrigation audits. The Primary responsibility of the Irrigation Manager is to direct daily operations related the the grounds maintenance of irrigation systems across the campus.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Must have an active Landscape Irrigator License by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Will be required to provide a copy of your licensure. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Monitor budget for labor hours, material purchases
- Plans and monitors preventive maintenance for all ground related equipment
- Ability to understand specifications, blueprints, manuals and schematic drawings for installation, maintenance and repair of structures and equipment.
- Ability to effectively communicate in meetings with client and subcontractors regarding grounds and irrigation maintenance
