A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

Description:
In this hands-on sales and operations position, you will be responsible for managing a group of key customers, growing business within the group, prospecting for and developing new customers.Essential Duties:
- Proactively selling and servicing key accounts by identifying customer needs, making face to face presentations, building customer profiles and processing bids and quotes.
- Execute and complete sales orders and coordinate logistics of execution and final completion
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of selling and servicing experience in the landscape/horticultural industry.
- Have confidence in selling the customer face to face at their place of business, as well as over the phone.
- Excellent communication and team skills.
- Superior customer service skills
- Excellent multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of Turf, Hardscape, Irrigation, and pest& disease products a plus
- Solid interpersonal, organizational and negotiation skills
- High level of detail orientation
- Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) a plus
Responsibilities:
- Oversee landscape project & workers who implement it.
- Meeting with clients to develop & refine plans for projects which may include ornamental plants, landscape structures (walkways, water features, irrigation, lighting, maintenance)
- Estimating costs & negotiating prices for plants, equipment & employees.
- Participating in the scheduling of work crews
- Planning daily work activities & monitoring the work being done.
- Experience managing in service industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Computer skills must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc)
- College horticulture or residential lawn care and maintenance would be the most ideal applicant.
Job Duties:
Manage multiple accounts, ensuring that a high level of customer retention and satisfaction is maintained Meet monthly quotas Engage with multiple customers on a daily basis by reaching out to new clients, and by developing campaigns for maintaining customer loyalty Implement strategies for retaining customers requesting to terminate or downgrade their account Record changes to customer accounts, updating service packages, adding accounts, and removing accounts as needed Other duties as requestedBenefit Conditions:
