Mt Vernon, WA 98273 POSITION SUMMARY The Landscaping Manager position is a full-time, non-exempt position which functions within the Landscaping Department of the agency. The position comes under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager. This position involves overseeing or providing the direct supervision of team members and program customers, landscaping tasks and managing all functions of the Landscaping Department. The position oversees the requirements of the company's Landscape maintenance contracts, ensuring that all obligations and quality requirements with contractors are met on a consistent basis. The person employed in this position may perform landscaping supervision, customer training, quality compliance checks and contract relations.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Horticulture, or related field preferred.
• A minimum of two years' experience in landscape maintenance and operating landscape equipment is required.
• A minimum of three years' landscape maintenance supervisory experience is required.
• Experience managing and developing employees, including coaching, performance management, scheduling, and operational oversight, is preferred.
• A combination of experience may be substituted for these requirements. Certificates
• Required Washington State Driver's license, basic vehicle liability insurance and be insurable.
• Required to submit and pass a Washington State Patrol background check as well as a DSHS background check.
• Must have, or obtain, a CPR certificate within six months of employment or current certification upon hire.
• Must have, or obtain, a valid Pesticide Management License from the Washing State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) within six months of employment or current license upon hire.
• Must take required courses to maintain Pesticide Management License annually. Skills & Abilities
• Must be able to manage the Landscaping Department in an organized and efficient manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and compliance processes.
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Must have good mechanical aptitude and be familiar with landscaping equipment.
• Must be willing to work non-standard working hours when contract needs demand.
• Must display initiative, ability to learn, flexibility, integrity, and self-discipline.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Must present and maintain a professional image to consumers.
• Ability to adhere to corporate policies as detailed in the Employee Policies and Procedures Handbook.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software with the ability to learn to utilize new technologies. Other

SALARY & BENEFITS

Starting Wage:

$37.92- $45.34 per hour
