  • Part-time, Seasonal, Full-time Position Overview Spokane Shadow Soccer Club is seeking an experienced Turf & Field Manager to oversee the maintenance, quality, and presentation of our soccer fields at Polo Fields.
This role is responsible for ensuring the playing surfaces are consistently safe, high-quality, and professionally prepared for training, matches, and club events. The ideal candidate has experience in the athletic field or turf management and takes pride in maintaining top-level playing conditions. This position can be structured as full-time salary for one manager or hourly for a small team , depending on the candidates hired. Key Responsibilities Field & Turf Maintenance Mowing, fertilizing, seeding, and turf health management Irrigation monitoring and watering schedules Seasonal turf care and field improvement planning Monitoring field wear patterns and implementing recovery plans Game & Training Preparation Field lining and striping using GPS Paint Robot Goal and net setup Preparing fields for practices, games, and events Ensuring safe and playable surfaces Facility Upkeep Maintain overall cleanliness and presentation of the field complex Monitor equipment and supply inventory Coordinate maintenance needs and seasonal preparation Winter / Off-Season Responsibilities Equipment maintenance and organization Inventory management Planning turf improvements for upcoming seasons Ordering supplies and preparing fields for spring startup Performance Bonus Available Bonus opportunities tied to field quality improvements and facility presentation Qualifications Experience in athletic field management, turf care, landscaping, or groundskeeping Knowledge of irrigation systems and turf maintenance practices Ability to operate field maintenance equipment (tractor, reel mower, GPS Paint Robot, etc.) Organized, reliable, and able to work independently Ability to work flexible hours during peak season (spring-fall)
Preferred:
