Wolfraths Nursery and Landscaping one of the valleys most prestigious Landscape companies has an opening for a Landscape/ Hardscape leader.
Position description and responsibilities:
This position will oversees and manages projects involving both hardscape and softscape elements. Leading a crew, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely while maintaining quality standards and adhering to design plans. Key Responsibilities of a
Hardscape/Landscape Foreman:
Project Management:
Planning, organizing, and managing the execution of hardscape and landscape projects from start to finish.
Crew Supervision:
Directing and supervising a crew, including training, and managing personnel on site.
Safety:
Ensuring a safe work environment for all crew members.
Quality Control:
Monitoring project progress and ensuring that work meets quality standards and design specifications.
Client Communication:
Interacting with clients and designer to address questions, make changes, and provide project updates.
Equipment Operation:
Operating various equipment, including bobcats, backhoes, and other tools necessary for hardscape and landscape construction.
Paperwork:
Completing necessary paperwork, such as timesheets, work orders, and material requisitions.
Blueprint Reading:
Understanding and interpreting design plans to execute the construction plan.
Hardscape Installation:
Installing hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and fire pits.
Landscape Installation:
Overseeing the planting and maintenance of softscape elements such as lawns, trees, and shrubs. Ability to read and set grades and elevations. Qualifications for a
Hardscape/Landscape Foreman:
Experience:
2 years of experience in hardscape and landscape construction.
Leadership Skills:
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
Communication Skills:
Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with crew members and clients.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of construction practices, equipment operation, and blueprint reading.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during projects. Valid drivers license required.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
