A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

401K Vacation Time Sick Pay •Wages may be negotiated based on experience• Specific responsibilities include: Operating and maintaining various machines like a skid steer or lawn mowers Capable of lifting 45-50lbs continuously throughout the day Driving larger trucks and pulling trailers if necessary Maintaining various projects like pruning and trimming services Working with various material like stone, or mulch Great multitasking skills Communication skills Ability to work with others as well as on your own Able to work outside in all seasons, such as the heat of summer or when it is colder out Snow maintenance, driving a plow truck or snow blowing Qualifications Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients Some knowledge in lawn care and landscape maintenance Some experience with landscaping techniques and use of hand tools Knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment operation, including excavators, lawn mowers or other smaller machines

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
