Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Landscaper to join our vibrant outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining beautiful, functional outdoor spaces that enhance the environment and meet client expectations. Your expertise in landscape maintenance, plant care, and groundskeeping will help transform outdoor areas into lush, inviting landscapes. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces. Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and health management. Manage pest control through pesticide application following safety protocols and environmental guidelines. Install and repair hardscape features like pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and ensuring proper watering schedules. Conduct seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or leaf removal to keep grounds tidy year-round. Follow all safety procedures diligently while handling equipment and performing outdoor work to prevent accidents or injuries. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping with knowledge of horticulture principles. Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, landscaping equipment operation, and irrigation systems. Familiarity with plant identification, pruning techniques, tree care, and lawn care practices. Ability to operate construction equipment such as excavators and snow plows when necessary. Strong understanding of pesticide management and safety protocol adherence during chemical applications. Outdoor work experience with a focus on grounds maintenance or landscaping projects. Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently in diverse weather conditions.
