Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, develop your landscaping skills, and contribute to the transformation of residential, commercial, and public landscapes. Whether you're trimming trees, installing hardscape features, or caring for lawns, your efforts will help bring outdoor visions to life with precision and enthusiasm. Responsibilities Assist in landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to ensure pristine grounds. Operate hand tools and power equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and excavation machinery like mini-excavators. Perform landscape installation work including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing irrigation systems. Support hardscape projects by laying pavers, retaining walls, walkways, and other stone or concrete features. Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and minor repairs to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for all users. Participate in tree care activities such as pruning, trimming, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety. Qualifications Previous experience with landscaping or outdoor maintenance is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and construction equipment is highly advantageous. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Knowledge of horticulture practices including lawn care, gardening, and plant health is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward completing tasks efficiently. Physical stamina to perform manual labor such as lifting heavy materials, digging, and operating machinery for extended periods.
