Job Summary Lawn Care Foreman / Crew Leader Coach's Lawn Care - Gulf Shores, AL $40,000-$50,000 Annual Compensation | 1099 Independent Contractor Coach's Lawn Care is looking for an experienced, dependable Lawn Care Foreman / Crew Leader to take ownership of our day-to-day lawn maintenance operations throughout Gulf Shores, Foley, and Orange Beach. This is a year-round 1099 independent contractor opportunity for someone who knows the lawn care business, can work independently, takes pride in doing things the right way, and is looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing local company. Compensation & Schedule Annual compensation is $40,000-$50,000, based on experience . During the growing season, the workload is approximately 30-40 hours per week , depending on weather and scheduling. The schedule is considerably lighter during the non-growing season while annual compensation remains consistent. The position is primarily focused on managing and completing an established weekly lawn maintenance route, with additional property maintenance and landscaping projects as needed. What You'll Do Manage and complete scheduled residential and commercial lawn maintenance routes Mow, edge, string trim and blow properties to Coach's Lawn Care standards Take ownership of the quality and completion of each property Maintain a consistent schedule and communicate delays or issues Properly operate and care for commercial lawn equipment Identify property or equipment issues before they become larger problems Complete trimming, cleanups, landscaping and other property maintenance projects as needed Coordinate additional labor when larger jobs require extra help Communicate professionally with customers when necessary What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who doesn't need to be managed every day . You should have professional lawn care or landscaping experience and be comfortable operating commercial zero-turn mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers and other lawn equipment. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is dependable, efficient, takes pride in their work and can be trusted to take ownership of the route. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. A Long-Term Opportunity This isn't a typical seasonal lawn care job. We're looking for someone who wants to take responsibility for an established book of business and build a long-term relationship with Coach's Lawn Care. The workload is heavier during the growing season and significantly lighter during the winter months. We want someone who values that flexibility while still being available when weather delays, additional projects or other work arise.
