Full Job Description Job Summary Timbercraft is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper/Landscaper to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, attractive, and well-kept. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of landscaping, gardening, and grounds maintenance tasks. Your expertise will help create inviting outdoor areas that promote safety, aesthetics, and sustainability. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors and develop your skills in horticulture and grounds management. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep grounds healthy and visually appealing Operate ground maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, chainsaws, power tools, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of soil bags, mulch, or equipment to support landscaping projects Apply pesticides or herbicides following safety protocols to control pests and weeds effectively Perform routine inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs and perform repairs or equipment maintenance as necessary Skills Skilled in the use of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools including chainsaws and trimmers Knowledge of horticulture principles for healthy lawn care and gardening practices Ability to operate company vehicles safely for transportation of equipment or materials Strong understanding of power tool safety procedures and equipment maintenance routines Physical strength for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work Familiarity with pesticide management regulations and application techniques Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to grounds upkeep and landscaping projects Additional Information Will be needed to perform duties at our main location and our other properties all located in Guntersville, AL Schedule will be according to needs of the business; may require some weekend work Join our team to contribute your skills in creating beautiful outdoor environments!
