Job Overview ATEC USA, Inc. is seeking a dependable and experienced Gardener / Grounds Maintenance Technician to support our client's facility in the Huntsville, Alabama area . This is a full-time, on-site position employed directly by ATEC USA, Inc. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain indoor and outdoor plants, landscaping, and lawn areas to ensure the facility grounds remain healthy, clean, safe, and well maintained. The position may also provide general support to the facility maintenance team as needed. Key Responsibilities Maintain and care for indoor and outdoor plants, flowers, shrubs, and lawn areas Perform routine landscaping duties including watering, fertilizing, pruning, weeding, reseeding, replanting, mowing, and trimming Rake leaves, clear sidewalks and walkways, and remove landscaping debris Operate and maintain landscaping and groundskeeping equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, pressure washers, tillers, and utility carts Monitor plants and landscaped areas for signs of disease, pests, or other issues Apply appropriate treatments for plant diseases and pests, including wasps and fire ants, in accordance with applicable safety procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and professional appearance throughout assigned outdoor and indoor areas Assist the facility maintenance team with other general tasks as needed, which may include painting, hanging picture frames, and similar light maintenance work Follow all company, client-site, and workplace safety policies and procedures Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in landscaping, gardening, grounds maintenance, or a related field High school diploma or GED required Basic knowledge of horticulture, plant types, lawn care, and seasonal plant maintenance Hands-on experience using landscaping and grounds maintenance tools and equipment Ability to communicate effectively in English , including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding work instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be able to successfully complete required background and drug screening Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 45 lbs. Ability to bend, dig, reach overhead, stand, walk, and perform other physical activities associated with landscaping and grounds maintenance Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to work in a fast-paced facility environment Must be available to work outside normal business hours, including occasional weekends and holidays, as needed (approximately 10%) Employment & Benefits Full-time employment with ATEC USA, Inc.
