POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Caregiver to join our dynamic care team. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional in-home care services to clients with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those requiring memory or dementia care. Your dedication will help promote safety, comfort, and well-being while fostering meaningful connections with those you serve. Duties Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' conditions, including vital signs and overall health status Assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal cleanup Support clients in engaging activities that promote mental and emotional well-being Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any changes in condition Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely during transfers and mobility assistance Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home health environments preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques and dementia or Alzheimer's care best practices Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times Hands-on experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and care plan implementation Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for patient transfers or mobility support Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is a plus Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable; ongoing training in hospice or memory care is advantageous
Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
