Job Description Landscape Technician Green Landscaping Birmingham is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Landscape Technician. This position is based out of our Irondale, AL location. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6:30am-5:00pm.

Essential Functions:

Preparing and maintaining landscapes for commercial, and residential applications. Preparing and maintaining landscape structures for showings, commercial, and residential applications. Preparing and maintaining landscape equipment. Maintaining equipment in good working order. interact with customers in a professional manner. Be able to lift and move 50+ pounds. Maintaining a safe work environment by following safety guidelines, adherence to OSHA regulations, and all other applicable regulatory requirements. Cleaning up after jobsite is complete. Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

Valid driver's license required. Must have a clean driving record. Drug free work environment. Knowledge of landscape maintenance tools preferred but not required. Knowledge of landscape maintenance equipment preferred but not required. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques preferred but not required. Ability to use basic math skills to accurately perform routine tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, etc., as well as ability to read and interpret schematics for landscape equipment such as tractors or trucks that are used for landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning or transplanting plants from containers to boxes or other material used in the maintenance of landscapes such as pruning or transplanting plants from boxes to boxes is a requirement for this position.
