A Landscaping or Groundskeeping Worker provides landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Provides care for plants and trees including mowing, trimming and planting, and repairs driveways, walks, benches or other structures.
Salary Information Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.�\r\n\r\n\r\n•A starting salary may be negotiated and will be commensurate with education, training and experience in alignment with pay administration policies and Montgomery Personnel Board Rules & Regulations•\r\n\r\n Nature of Work The\r\nEquipment Operator I classification is distinguished from the Maintenance\r\nWorker position based on the operation of various types of non-CDL equipment on\r\na routine basis.� The skills and\r\nknowledge required are of a level and scope to be in support of a journey,\r\ntrades or crafts person.� Some positions\r\nwill require the performance of other essential and marginal functions\r\ndepending on the location, assignment or shift.\r\nEmployees in this class operate vehicles that do not require a Commercial\r\nDriver's License such as trucks, farm tractors, zero and turn mowers. Equipment Operator Is receive training on\r\nvarious pieces of CDL required equipment for future advancement to the\r\nEquipment Operator II classification.\r\n Minimum Qualifications One\r\n(1) year of experience as a laborer assisting in general trades using\r\nhand-tools and maintenance equipment.� Requires\r\nskill to read slightly complex material such as operator manuals, perform\r\nsimple arithmetic, complete slightly complex forms and use tools and equipment.\r\n\r\n\r\n
