Overview Join our dynamic landscape maintenance team as a Lawn Care and Landscape Technician, where your passion for outdoor work and horticulture will help transform and maintain beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. In this role, you'll be actively involved in a variety of groundskeeping and landscaping tasks, ensuring properties are safe, attractive, and well-maintained. Whether you're trimming trees, operating power tools, or managing irrigation systems, your efforts will directly contribute to creating inviting environments for clients and communities alike. Responsibilities Perform lawn care duties including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote healthy turf growth. Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, power saws safely and efficiently. Maintain landscape features by planting, pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, and installing hardscape elements like pathways or retaining walls. Manage irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments to ensure proper watering schedules. Identify various plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees to ensure proper care and maintenance; apply horticultural knowledge to enhance landscape health. Follow safety protocols rigorously during all tasks to prevent accidents or injuries while handling tools or equipment. Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal or winterizing landscapes to keep properties accessible year-round. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment operation. (preferred) Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or groundskeeping roles.(preferred) Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks. (preferred) Ability to identify plants accurately and understand basic horticulture principles.(preferred Knowledge of pesticide management practices for pest control and plant health. (preferred) Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, inspection, and repair techniques.(preferred) Experience with hardscape construction including patios, walkways, or retaining walls is a plus. Commitment to safety protocol adherence during outdoor work activities. Pay:
