Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to keep outdoor areas pristine and inviting Operate ground maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and excavators safely and efficiently Support landscape construction projects by preparing sites, installing hardscape features, and performing soil preparation Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health; apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols Maintain irrigation systems for optimal water distribution; troubleshoot issues and perform routine system checks Conduct grounds inspections to identify hazards or maintenance needs; adhere strictly to safety protocols at all times Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or winterizing landscapes to ensure year-round site safety and appearance Requirements Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or related fields preferred Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, and irrigation systems essential for efficient operation Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management necessary for proper landscape care Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators or tree care equipment is a plus; construction experience is advantageous Strong understanding of safety procedures related to landscaping operations; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment Excellent physical stamina for lifting, digging, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions Valid experience with grounds maintenance equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, hand tools, and hardscape installation tools Embark on a career where your skills make a visible difference!
