Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Maintenance Worker and play a vital role in creating and maintaining pristine, playable golf course grounds. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for ensuring the course remains in top condition by performing a variety of landscaping, groundskeeping, and equipment maintenance tasks. Responsibilities Operate and maintain golf course groundskeeping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal course conditions. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and planting to keep the course lush and healthy. Manage irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules and coverage. Conduct regular groundskeeping duties including trimming trees and shrubs, removing debris, and maintaining bunkers and greens. Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting, manual handling of materials, and use of hand tools for various landscaping projects. Maintain equipment through routine cleaning, inspections, lubrication, and report problems to supervisor. Requirements Prior experience with golf course groundskeeping or athletic field groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, and pesticide management is highly desirable. Ability to operate power tools safely including chainsaws, trimmers, mowers, and other landscaping equipment. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks throughout the workday. A valid driver's license and familiarity with company vehicle operation for transporting equipment or materials around the course site. Understanding of power tool safety procedures combined with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
