Summary of Position:

The landscaper will execute landscaping and property maintenance, ensuring that all non-cultivated areas (excluding fruit-bearing trees and plants) of the property are maintained, safe, and attractive. Will mow lawn, fertilize, plant and maintain seasonal flowers, weed, prune, install hardscape features, and irrigation according to design. Maintains equipment and assists with special projects as needed.

Job Specific Responsibilities:

Landscape/hardscape Operates ground maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, edgers, leaf blowers, and pressure washer equipment. Prune trees and shrubs. Removes trash and debris from assigned areas Installs irrigation, valves, solenoids, pipe, and emitters Monitors, repairs, and activates irrigation systems. Applies fertilizer and pesticides to landscape areas. Drives utility vehicles to and from worksites. Uses mower, lift truck, and other equipment (training provided) Performs related responsibilities as required. Set or repair pavers. Spread decorative stone, DG, mulch. Plant trees, flowers, and shrubs Qualifications Three years of landscape or grounds maintenance experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess an up-to-date food handler permit or card for the county in which they are employed. A high school diploma or equivalent. A valid Arizona driver's license and an insurable driving record Be able to cope with the stress of seasonal sales activity and hours Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
