Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaping Technician to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor spaces tidy and attractive. Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, power tools, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. Identify various plants, shrubs, trees, and pests to ensure proper care and pest management practices are followed. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed. Conduct tree trimming, hardscape installation or repair, and snow plowing during appropriate seasons to maintain safety and visual appeal. Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with pesticide management and other horticultural practices to promote healthy plant growth. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools operation. Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and groundskeeping. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and pest management techniques. Ability to operate irrigation systems effectively and troubleshoot related issues. Familiarity with safety procedures for outdoor work environments and equipment use. Hands-on experience with tree care including trimming and pruning techniques. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; ability to lift heavy equipment or materials when necessary.
