Full Job Description Description Job Overview:
As the Landscaper you will perform general landscaping tasks including grounds clean up, mowing grass, maintaining gardens and other general duties to ensure the overall community landscaping is designed and maintained properly.
Compensation:
$19-20 per hour, depending on exeperience FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Your Responsibilities:
Perform general landscape duties (cut grass, trim and edge around tress, maintain walkways, promote plant health) around the community and golf courses Complete landscaping to keep the outside of the building clean, safe, and beautiful Plant and maintain new decorative bushes, flowers, plans and shrubs Prune existing shrubs and trees to remove any overgrowth Apply fertilizer to lawns and plants when needed Spray lawn, shrub, and trees herbicides, and insecticides Remove debris from driveways and walkways and maintain walkways and other outdoor areas Occasionally assist with porter tasks such as picking up/collecting trash, pressure washing sidewalks, cleaning mailboxes etc. Assist with the unloading of supplies and equipment during vendor deliveries Keeps job area clean and organized Sharpen tools such as weed cutters, edging tools, and shear Maintains, cleans, and properly stores landscaping equipment Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a landscaper Knowledge of general landscaping methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to landscaping Able to use tools, equipment, and chemicals properly and safely Must be a team player Superior manual dexterity skills Valid Arizona drivers license Organized, with the ability to prioritize and adjust to incoming demands
Education and Experience:
Prior experience as a landscaper preferred
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time Work will be primarily outdoors Able to work in various weather conditions such as heat, rain, cold, wind, etc.

Work Hours:
Monday - Friday, Regular schedule is 6a - 2:30p, subject to change based on business needs.
