PART-TIME HANDYMAN / GROUNDSKEEPER WANTED - EXPERIENCED ONLY

Hilltop Tavern & Inn is looking for an experienced, organized, self-reliant Part-Time Handyman/Groundskeeper who takes pride in keeping a property beautiful, clean, well-maintained, and aesthetically appealing. This is NOT a training position. You must already know the work, be able to assess what needs attention, and complete projects properly without constant direction or supervision.

REQUIREMENTS

Proven handyman and groundskeeping experience Must have your own tools Must have your own reliable vehicle Must be organized, dependable, and self-motivated Able to work independently and manage your time effectively Experience trimming and maintaining roses, shrubs, plants, and landscaping Know how to identify and remove dead or unhealthy foliage Know how to select, plant, and care for new foliage Must know how to assess, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sprinkler and irrigation systems Able to identify broken sprinkler heads, leaks, coverage problems, clogged lines, valve issues, and other common irrigation problems General handyman, repair, and property-maintenance skills Must have an eye for curb appeal and aesthetics and understand how to make a property look attractive and well cared for Able to walk the property, recognize what needs attention, and take initiative without being told every little task Must keep tools, supplies, work areas, storage areas, and the maintenance office clean and organized Must clean up after every project and properly return tools and supplies to their designated areas Able to keep track of needed supplies, repairs, and unfinished projects Must be able to complete projects from start to finish

COMPENSATION

Wage is negotiable based on experience, skills, and what you bring to the position. A possible living arrangement may also be considered as part of the overall compensation arrangement for the right person. Details would be discussed separately.
