The Maintenance Groundskeeper's job is to cultivate and care of the landscaping and grounds of the property. The Groundskeeper plants, mows, pulls weeds, repairs structures, and maintains the outsides of buildings as needed. Helps with guest requests and maintenance coverage as needed. Requirements The Maintenance Groundskeeper must have the ability to install, service, replace, and repair the following items in a responsible and professional manner that meets company standards. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: Irrigation Systems Outdoor lighting elements including timers and photocells Fencing Mulch and various ground coverings Tree and shrub trimming Dependable, punctual, impeccable attendance record Ability to handle hand and power tools Accurate, attention to detail, service oriented Strong organizational skills Positive attitude, strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills Excellent communication and organizational skills. Professional demeanor Must be able to operate a golf cart Must be able to operate a riding lawn mower and other landscaping machinery Must be able to work on feet for extended periods Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
