Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper/Groundskeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining outdoor spaces to ensure they are attractive, safe, and functional. Your work will directly contribute to the beautification and safety of public areas by performing landscape maintenance, operating groundskeeping equipment, and adhering to safety protocols. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors and develop your skills in grounds maintenance. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor areas pristine Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Maintain hardscape features like walkways, patios, and retaining walls by cleaning and repairing as needed Identify plants and trees for proper care; execute tree trimming and plant identification tasks Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules; troubleshoot irrigation issues promptly Apply pesticides or fertilizers following safety protocols to promote healthy plant growth Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure clear pathways and safe access Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools Ability to operate lawn care machinery such as mowers and excavators safely Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management Familiarity with irrigation systems and hardscape maintenance techniques Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments Excellent physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and working in various weather conditions Lift up to 50lbs Valid Driver's License and clean driving record Join us in creating beautiful outdoor spaces that enhance community environments!
