Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. This position involves performing various custodial tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

Schedule :

MWF- 8 AM-5PM

(8 hours) Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the facility. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of appearance. Maintain restrooms by cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies as needed. Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste materials. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as required to support overall facility maintenance. Respond promptly to any cleaning requests or emergencies throughout the day. Monitor building security by ensuring doors are locked and reporting any suspicious activities. Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a clean and organized environment. Requirements Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and polishing. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is an advantage. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
