Job Description

Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students in educational settings as a Sign Language Interpreter. This full-time contract position offers approximately 30 hours per week (6 hours per day) and is located onsite at a school near Chico, CA. There is a consistent need for interpreters now through the 2026-2027 school year, with opportunities available for those seeking to work with middle and high school students—preferences can be accommodated. As a key member of the academic team, you'll help foster communication and learning for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Your expertise will empower students to access curriculum and school experiences, working collaboratively with educators and staff. Qualifications & Skills Certification by the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, an EIPA score of 4.0 or higher, ESSE-I/R, or
NAD/ACCI
