Position summary:
The primary function of this position is to assist with performing basic maintenance such as Preventative Maintenance of equipment on the roof, identification of problems, repairs and installations, as well as maintain and replace machine parts, adjust; and paint, build, clean and modify the facilities, buildings and its grounds, according to a set schedule
Job Functions:
Check the work schedule, receive cleaning assignment, obtain supplies required to perform the work, put on all of the required Perform Daily grounds cleaning (picking up trashes) outside of building, clean the facility by trimming trees, plants, and maintaining the flower beds Assist mechanics and technicians with transportation of parts to and from production area for major equipment repairs Monitor all roof exhaust blowers daily and perform weekly PM on all Roof Equipment Breakdown, disassemble and/or loosen nuts, screws, belts, remove machine parts, conveyors, guard rails, lids, doors and guards Perform minor Plumbing work (repairs and parts installation), Painting, and floor patching Perform Preventative maintenance on RTO including filter and housing cleaning, and some parts replacements Input work orders and PM's daily in the computer using the provided software (SAP). Report if any equipment needs attention Assist in monthly parts inventory
Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent 2-4 years' experience in maintenance warehousing and inventory control SAP experience helpful Prior Purchasing experience helpful Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office Must have good communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to read, write and communicate in English, as it relates to the job and safety regulations Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
